Community Easter Celebration at the Courtyard Theater
On Saturday, April 3, there will be an Easter Celebration at the Courtyard Theater in Plano, Texas from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. There will be Easter egg hunts, scavenger hunts, a puppet show, clowns, games and free hot-dogs to the first fifty kids who register. For more details call 972-941-5600.
Texas Sized Egg Hunt at the Stockyards
Kids (12 and under) grab your Easter baskets and head to the Fort Worth Stockyards for an egg hunt you will not want to miss. The hunt starts at 12:00 p.m., on the Lawns of the Stockyards Visitors Center and the Historic Livestock Exchange Building. After the hunt, you’ll be able to sit with the Easter bunny and have your picture made until 2 p.m. Parents will need to bring their own cameras. There will also be live bunnies and chicks too, until 3 p.m. Fort Worth Stockyards Egg Hunt and Easter Fun is free and open to the public.
Easter Egg Hunt at Adventure Landing
On Saturday, April 3, Adventure Landing will have over two thousand eggs stuffed with candy and prizes and hidden around the miniature golf courses. The first 100 children to sign up in each age group (2-4, 5-7, & 8-10) are eligible to participate. The price for this event is $3, but families can also enjoy the Stay & Play Special, which includes unlimited go-karts, laser tag, and mini golf from 9am-2pm, for an additional $10-$15 per person. Registration is at 8:00 a.m. with the egg hunts beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Dallas Blooms Easter Weekend at the Dallas Arboretum
During the Easter weekend and in conjunction with Dallas Blooms, young children and parents can join in the fun starting with a continental breakfast and a fun and Easter Egg Hunt in the Jonsson Color Garden. In addition, there will be professional photos with a live bunny ($15), a petting zoo, and a silhouette portrait artist ($5). On Saturday the hours are from 12:00-4:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
