Shade of Hope

Bounce Energy is a sponsor of Shade of Hope, a community arts affair intended to raise money, awareness, and support for The Furniture Bank, an organization that turns houses into homes for less-fortunate families. This event is brought together by The Furniture Bank and Blinds.com. The event will be happening on July 18, 2010 at the Furniture Bank on 2100 Hussion Street. It’s the kick-off event for The Furniture, Arts and Decor Expo – Show your heART Houston, which also benefits The Furniture Bank and will happen 8/28-8/29 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
On Sunday, July 18, a group of local artists are invited to cover a roller shade with their artwork. These shades will later be sold at The Furniture, Arts, and Decor Expo on August 28-29. All of the proceeds from the sale of the shades will go towards the Furniture Bank to help turn houses into homes for less fortunate families.
