Bounce Energy is Thankful for our Green Customers

One of the reasons that I consider Thanksgiving to be my favorite holiday is that it prompts me all month long to think of ways and reasons to be thankful. As I get keyed up for a great Thursday in the fall filled with food, family, and football, I’m also afforded the weeks before the big day itself to reflect back upon the year and all that it’s brought me.

Bounce Energy is also taking time during November to consider just how thankful we are, especially since we’ve enjoyed a great 2011. So, as we ponder the many things we want to give thanks for, one of the first things that sticks out are our wonderful green energy customers. Bounce is quite proud to offer four great residential electricity plans and two commercial plans that use 100% renewable energy, and we’re thankful to all of our customers who take advantage of these plans as a way to give back to the earth.

Each person who purchases a green energy plan for a home or business does as much environmental good as planting 950 trees or driving 20,000 miles less each year! Furthermore, green energy customers help our country eliminate our reliance on non-renewable power and help promote additional renewable energy development.

Currently, Bounce has almost 10% of its customers enrolled in a green energy plan. For a rapidly growing company that’s not even four years old yet, that’s a number for which we are quite proud. In 2011, our green energy customers contributed nearly 15,000 MWh; and our overall green contribution for our company’s history has been over 35,000 MWh.

Thus, while Bounce is thankful for each and every one of customers, we want to give a special bit of recognition to those folks are going green by taking advantage of our green energy plans. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for choosing Bounce Energy for your electricity needs, and we look forward to serving your needs for the rest of 2011 and throughout 2012.
