Bounce Energy Supports Texas Troops via Facebook and Twitter Campaign
This June, Bounce Energy, a Texas electricity company, is showing support for Texans who are serving in the United States Armed Services by making a contribution to Support Our Troops Texas.
06.27.2011 - As a Texas retail electricity provider, Bounce Energy has made efforts to be a part of the community by making donations, volunteering time, and through different sponsorships of many charitable organizations around the state. To commemorate the recent Memorial Day holiday and the upcoming Fourth of July, Bounce Energy will be making a contribution to Support Our Troops Texas, a non-profit that provides support to military personnel at home and abroad.
As a charitable organization, Support Our Troops Texas helps provide for the material, physical, and emotional needs of our military men and women that are stationed at home or in active duty in other parts of the world. The organization supports soldiers by sending monthly care packages to troops overseas, making for a more comfortable stay. Support Our Troops Texas also sends cards to active duty soldiers during Christmas time and on birthdays as well as providing written communication to troops on a regular basis, letting them know that we appreciate everything they are doing. Other than sending care packages, cards and letters, Support Our Troops Texas also makes financial contributions to other non-profit organizations such as Intrepid Fallen Heroes, which helps support families of soldiers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, and for severely wounded soldiers and veterans.
Bounce Energy is teaming up with Support Our Troops Texas, and for every new recruit to the Bounce Energy Facebook page or every new Twitter follower we are donating $1 to Support Our Troops Texas.
