Texas Electricity Company Bounce Energy Gets Into the Holiday Spirit with New Plans and Social Media
With two new electricity plans and a social media charity campaign to feed Houston's hungry, Bounce Energy sticking to it's pledge to do more than provide just low electric rates to Texas consumers.
Houston, TX -- December 18, 2009 -- Bounce Energy, a Texas Energy Provider, is offering two new plans to new customers this holiday season. The first is a seasonal twist on their Fantastic Fixed 6 plan, with the other being a new introductory month-to-month plan called Thrifty Saver. On top of these new plans, Bounce Energy is also using their social networking presence to help donate to the Houston Food Bank.
New Texas Electric Plans
The holiday version of their Fantastic Fixed 6 not only allows new customers to lock in a low electric rate for the next six months (as low as 9.4 cents per kilowatt hour*), but also gives them a choice of one of six gift cards to prominent retail brands such as Amazon, Home Depot, iTunes, Macy's, Starbucks or Walmart.
Customers selecting the Thrifty Saver Introductory plan can immediately start saving money by receiving one the lowest rates currently available on the market on their first bill (as low as 8.5 cents per kilowatt hour*). Because this is a month-to-month plan, there's no contract or termination fee.
Enrollment in either plan means automatic entry into Bounce Energy's Reward Program. Customers who make bill payments on-time for 6 consecutive months receive their choice of 2 movie tickets or a 1 year magazine subscription PLUS access to the Bounce Energy VIP Customer Service line. Other rewards include $75 bill credits and free electricity when other milestones are met.
Cans for Fans
Through their Facebook page, Bounce Energy is helping the hungry in their community this holiday season. For every new Facebook fan they receive, Bounce Energy donates one food item to the Houston Food Bank. Through the campaign, Bounce Energy is helping the non-profit organization feed 80,000 different people each week that come through their doors. The Houston Food Bank feeds 498,000 different people each year through 400 hunger relief agencies in 18 southeast Texas counties.
