Bounce Energy launches Hurricane Preparedness Center and Project: Greenify.
Houston, TX -- March 3, 2009 -- Staying true to their mission of being more than just an energy company providing low rates, Bounce Energy, a Texas Electric Provider (REP), recently launched two new consumer advocacy sites to help consumers live greener and stay prepared for hurricane season: Project: Greenify and the Hurricane Preparedness Center.
Project: Greenify provides eco-conscious consumers information on a variety of environmentally-friendly topics to help them live greener every day. From energy efficiency tips at home and the office to the latest green products and technologies, Project: Greenify offers the latest and greatest from the world of earth-friendly news. Consumers will also find green tips and tricks on how to reuse and recycle around the house, strategies for eating greener away from home, and inspirational quotes on the importance of taking better care of our planet.
The Hurricane Preparedness Center is a useful resource for both customers and residents of the Gulf Coast to help them be prepared when hurricanes threaten the region. In addition to tips and information on the things consumers should do to protect their families and homes, the Center will provide the latest news and updates on everything hurricane related. Hurricane tracking, details about Saffir-Simpson scale for hurricane measurement, 2009 hurricane names and future naming, the history of hurricanes, and frequently asked questions about hurricanes will be gathered in one convenient site to make it easy for consumer to stay informed.
