Houston and Dallas are alike in that they both have an incredible array of casual and fine dining restaurants. So many, that I am convinced if someone tried a new restaurant every night for a year he still wouldn’t be able to enjoy all of them. So why not try as many as you can by participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks 2012 and Dallas/Fort Worth’s KRLD Restaurant Week 2012.

Houston Restaurant Weeks 2012

For the entire month of August (August 1 – 31), customers can dine at any participating Houston restaurant for a fraction of the standard cost while raising money for the Houston Food Bank. There are over 75 participating restaurants, and they’re offering three or four course gourmet dinners for $35 per person (Note: price does not include beverages, tax or gratuity.)  If dinner isn’t an option, then try lunch. For $20 per person, customers will receive two courses of fine dining, which is a perfect way to take a break from the day!  Each restaurant is donating $5 per dinner sold and $3 per lunch sold to the Houston Food Bank.
