A Look Back at Bounce Energy’s Biggest Moments of 2012

Bounce Energy takes a look back at 2012Can you believe 2012 is over and we are a few days into 2013? Thanks to the support of all of our customers we were able to have a pretty incredible 2012. Let’s take a look back at some of the biggest Bounce Energy milestones of the past year.

We launched in Pennsylvania

In October we expanded into Pennsylvania’s deregulated power market. We now offer plans for both residential and small business service as well as a large variety of rewards programs to customers in Pennsylvania. Thanks to customers who wanted more options for power plans and rewards, we’ve been growing steadily in the region over the past couple of months.

Several new Rewards Programs

Speaking of rewards, in 2012 we wanted to give our customers more options when it came to choosing their rewards and how they wanted to get rewarded as a way of saying thanks for making us your electricity provider. In January we introduced our Cash Back Rewards Program. Customers could now earn 3% cash back on each on-time bill paid.

In April, we rolled out our American Express Membership Rewards Program which allowed customers to earn even more American Express points when you pay your Bounce Energy bill.

In July we unveiled our Mommy Merits which included many mom-centric and family oriented rewards such as tickets to local museums, sports games, as well as a variety of gift cards from Spa Finder to Target.

We also unveiled an entirely new rewards program for our Pennsylvania customers. Customers are able to choose from our seven different rewards programs including: Travel Rewards, Movie Lover Rewards, Electronics Rewards, Grocery Rewards, Sports Rewards, Shoppers Rewards, and Dining Rewards.

Record-breaking year for charity

We had a great year for raising money for local charities in Texas and Pennsylvania, and so far this has been our best year yet! Thanks to all of our customer’s dedication to raising awareness for these various groups, we all had a hand in making life a little better for a large number of people out there. We’re hoping to break this record again in 2013 and beyond and with your help, we know we’ll be able to!

Ranked “Among the Best” in J.D. Power Ratings

In August we were on pins and needles waiting for the results from the annual J.D. Power and Associates Retail Electric Provider Customer Satisfaction Study. We were completely ecstatic to discover that our customers rated us “among the best” for overall satisfaction! We pride ourselves in making sure our customer service is of the utmost importance and we want your experience as our customers to be easy and exceptional. Receiving the rating of “among the best” tells us that we’re doing something right.

Bounce Energy Wins Houston’s Social Madness Competition

In July we entered and won the Business Journal and Spark Business from Capital One Social Madness competition for the small business Houston division. Each participating city had 3 divisions: small business, medium business, and large business. We were also the top points earner for retail electricity provider as well as top points earned for small business division in all of Texas! This win is directly a thanks due to all of the hard work from our customers and fans, so thank you again for helping us win this great award.

Facebook Milestones

In February we finally passed the 50,000 fan mark and at the time we were the first utility company to do so. Since February we’ve grown substantially thanks to people wanting to help us raise awareness for charities, helping us compete in the Social Madness competition, and customers checking in to see what is going on at Bounce Energy. We’ve grown so much that we recently surpassed 100,000 fans in November! Just want to give another huge thanks to all of our friends and customers for helping us surpass this milestone in 2012!

Whew, we’ve had a pretty busy year but we’re hoping to have an even better 2013. So here’s to a great 2013, and a big thanks to all of our customers!
