Happy Business PeopleAlready on the forefront of innovation in terms of product development and communication with its customers, Bounce Energy was recently selected as “Best of Category” winner in the Energy: Transportation/Transmission/Utilities/Marketing category by the American Marketing Association (AMA). One of the fastest growing independent retail electricity providers in the nation, Bounce Energy earned the highest score in its category from AMA Houston Chapter members, as well as marketing professionals and educators from the greater Houston area.

This marks the 7th annual AMA Marketer of the Year Awards, which seek to honor “exceptional marketing efforts by Houston-area companies, organizations, and institutions.” Over 130 different companies vied for consideration in this competition, yet only 33 were selected.

As the winner of its category, Bounce Energy is currently in the running for the 2012 AMA Houston Marketer of the Year Award. The winner of this prestigious prize will be determined by a panel of judges that consists of prominent marketing authorities from around the country.

When asked why he feels his company earned such outstanding scores, CEO Robbie Wright responded, “Bounce Energy continually seeks out unique and diverse ways to share our story and brand with customers new and old. And while we still use traditional marketing methods, we also place a high value upon the efficacy and validity of social media. We view platforms like Facebook and Twitter as the world’s largest set of interactive billboards, and our customer base has grown because of it.”

AMA Houston will hold its 2012 Marketer of the Year awards ceremony on March 18, 2013 at the Alley Theatre in Houston, TX. If Bounce Energy wins this award as well, it will further confirm its rising star status as an electricity company with a creative reach far beyond the stuffy confines of the energy industry.
