Breathe Easy with Bounce Energy and the American Lung Association

By Adam P. Newton, March 7, 2013, Charity & Community, Events & Fun, News

ALA LogoYes – that’s a slightly tacky pun in our title, but we wanted to attract your attention to our newest charity campaign. Bounce Energy wants to help raise awareness for all of the great work that the American Lung Association (ALA) is doing across our country. So, for the entire month of March, we will be donating 50 cents for every new “Like” we receive on Facebook, as well as a donation of $2,500.

With regional branches around the nation, the ALA was founded in 1904 to combat the most-feared respiratory ailment of the time – tuberculosis. As cures and preventative measures were discovered for that disease, the organization turned its attention to all manner of concerns that can affect the lungs, including asthma, environmental air quality, tobacco restrictions, and more. The overall goal of the ALA – healthy air for healthy lungs.

It’s easy to become involved with this excellent charity! You could start with asking your friends (even if they’re not a Bounce Energy customer) to “Like” us on Facebook. But if you’re the more adventurous, hands-on types, you and your family could attend one of the wonderful events held by the American Lung Association. For example, Texas residents can attend the Fight for Air Climb in Houston, TX on April 6, 2013. If you live in Pennsylvania, there is a 2013 Fight for Air Climb happening in Pittsburgh, PA on March 23, 2013. And for our new friends in New York, you can head to Buffalo, NY on March 9, 2013 to take part in a 2013 Fight for Air Climb.

To learn more about the American Lung Association, its mission, and its efforts to help everyone in America breathe easy, Bounce Energy encourages you to please visit the ALA Charter website closest to your home:
