Bounce Energy Teams Up with Neighborhood Centers Houston

By Annie Weglicki, February 25, 2016, Charity & Community

Giving back to local communities and charitable organizations is at the foundation of the Bounce Energy brand. Each month, we partner with a Texas-based charity or non-profit to bring awareness to their efforts and raise donations through our social media community.

This February, Bounce Energy is excited to partner with Neighborhood Centers Houston, an organization bringing opportunity to-low income families and individuals through 70 local centers throughout the region. We support this non-profit’s belief that each neighborhood “is a bridge to opportunity and that people can transform communities and that everyone everywhere has something to contribute.”

Neighborhood Centers focuses on increasing community engagement by improving the financial stability and educational needs of individuals at every age within the communities they serve. In order to identify the needs and aspirations of a given community, the Neighborhood Centers team collaborates with community leaders and residents to identify and build upon the strengths of the residents and businesses in the area. And they accomplish these goals while working to achieve the long-term aspirations of both individuals and families.

As one of the most diverse cities in the United States, it’s paramount that Houston continues to invest in individuals, families, and communities as a whole to ensure our region continues to thrive for generations to come.
