Retail electricity provider partners with historic organization to raise funds through social media campaign

As the most liked electricity company on Facebook, Bounce Energy frequently reaches out to its fan base to bring attention to a variety of beneficial charities. For the month of March, Bounce Energy will donate 50 cents to the American Lung Association (ALA) for every new "Like" the company receives on Facebook. This campaign will accompany an additional in-kind donation of $2,500 to assist the ALA with its mission.

Founded in 1904, the American Lung Association initially strove to defeat tuberculosis, which was the most-feared lung disease in the world at that time. As that crippling sickness decreased in severity and frequency, the ALA then began to address a greater variety of ailments that damage one's respiratory system, with special consideration given to reducing asthma conditions, improving overall air quality, and increasing tobacco restrictions.

At its core, the American Lung Association seeks to provide healthy air and healthy lungs for all Americans, and the organization has developed a range of events and opportunities where interested parties can get involved. Specifically, Texas residents can attend the 2013 Fight for Air Climb that will be held in Houston, TX on April 6, 2013. The ALA holds similar events regularly throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and the rest of the country as well.

Bounce Energy wants to thank the American Lung Association for all of its hard work on behalf of the lungs and air quality of everyone in America. To learn more about this campaign and how you can help grow the donation, visit Bounce Energy on Facebook, Twitter, and the Bounce Energy blog.
