I was able to pick my own due date with Bounce, will I be able to do that with Direct Energy?

If you requested your own due date with Bounce Energy, you will have the same due date with Direct Energy. Your due date will remain the same unless one of the following actions take place on your account.

  • - We receive a NSF (non-sufficient fund) notice from your bank
  • - You request an ExPP (Extended Payment Plan) or DPP (Deferred Payment Plan)
  • - You make more than one late payment in 12 months
  • - You have your electricity services disconnected for non-payment

If you are removed from the program due  one of these actions, these requirements must be met to be eligible to be re-enrolled in the program:

  • - We have received less than or equal to one NSF notices within the last 12 months and none within the last 30 days
  • - You have not broken an ExPP (Extended Payment Plan) or DPP (Deferred Payment Plan) within the last 6 months
  • - Your account can not have a past due balance
